Quick, Secure Installation
The Ram Step is engineered for fast installation using common shop tools. Most installs take 10–15 seconds, allowing you to immediately improve safety and access to your truck bed or work platform.
Step 1 — Select Mounting Location
Choose the desired installation location. Loosen the existing fasteners in that area — do not fully remove them, only back them out enough to allow the mounting plates to slide underneath.
Step 2 — Align Mounting Plates
Position the Ram Step mounting plates so the slots align with the partially loosened fasteners.
Step 3 — Position the Step
Slide the Ram Step into place over the existing fasteners, ensuring proper orientation and comfortable stepping clearance.
Step 4 — Tighten Fasteners
Secure the step by tightening the fasteners evenly until the unit is firmly mounted.
Step 5 — Verify Stability
Apply firm downward pressure to confirm the Ram Step is secure and does not shift before use or beginning work.
